respiratory mechanism
The respiratory system allow the giant panda to breathe. By breathing the giant panda is able to get rid of toxic waste such as carbon dioxide. Most importantly the respiratory system oxygenates it's body which is needed to perform its functions. The organs of the respiratory system are the glottis, larynx, trachea, sternotrachialis muscle, syrinx, bronchus, heart, and lungs. Giant pandas breathe with their lungs with the help of the diaphragm muscles. The air is inhaled through the mouth or nose then passes through the narrow bronchiole finally reaching the alveoli. The oxygen in the gas is absorbed by the red blood cell, it is delivered to other cells in the body that is in need of oxygen. Then carbon dioxide is then breathed out to clear the body from impurity.
